Middle sessions - Learn & Launch
Create your partnerships your programs, your targets, your promotional plan (included), price points, financial goals, marketing pathways, client streams, community engagement, and finalize branding, website & registration pages so you are ready for sales.
Final Weeks - Growth & Review
The last two sessions of the course are staggard so you can get work completed and we can assist you in identifying your weaknesses and missed opportunities, set up your accounting systems, and identify key positions for employees and/or volunteers. Review first 8 weeks for actuals and update so that at the end of the program you can create systems & accountability to automate accounting, social media, client streams, cash flow focus, partnerships, and new programs.

Meet Your Mentors.
Trish Alexander
Trish Alexander has been running skate classes and skate events such as camps, marathons and fundraisers for 26 years. She runs Skate Journeys Skate School (a non-profit) the largest skate school of its kind in North America. With 53 instructors and staff, the skate school has been thriving since 1999. Trish also is the Executive Director of Skate Instructors Association which she inherited in 2009 as an inline certification with 60 members and has now grown it to include Roller, Inline & Skateboard Instructors. There are currently 250 Instructor members with 7 Examiners, who have certified about 600 skaters to be instructors in the last decade. She has a background in retail and worked professionally as a private detective and trial paralegal for 17 years before leaving to start her own skate school and business.
Jacques Thibault
Advisor
Jacques currently is part of the trio that created Own the Podium provides technical leadership and guidance to national sport organizations with the aim of delivering more Olympic and Paralympic medals for that country. Jacques is the key ingredient for the athletes and is a perfect advisor to for this course. With a review of the wealth of sports in the his view, he brings an additional layer of talent to assisting athletes to create themselves as entrepreneurs. Jacques also has been providing leadership to Team Canada of the Special Olympics and has written the book Changing Expectations which has changed the views of trainers, coaches and the Special “O” athletes on what is possible.
Malik Lloyd
Team Member
Malik Lloyd has been successfully assisting sports-preneurs with building landing pages, websites & registration pages (quickly and affordably!) so you don’t have to worry about those tedious aspects of your business. He even built this page for us! Malik is an avid skater, Skate Instructor, and Examiner certifying athletes how to teach their sport. He has been the leader in running non-profit programs, for-profit programs and has a background with a global company in the marketing aspect. Malik will be teaching various aspects of this course, available for building your website (in as little as four hours) and getting you moving along your journey as a Sports-Preneur.

Mark is the former CEO of the Olympic Oval, a two time Olympic Speedskater and has been successful as a CEO in a million-dollar company putting sports in Physical Education Classes in schools in and around the Alberta Province in Canada.
